Bill Herrera
after receiving a B.Sc. Industrial Engineering has acquired over thirty-five (35) years of water treatment experience throughout several aspects within the water purification industry. Mr. Herrera is currently owner and operator of WRC. He is a board recommended technical consultant for the American Water Quality Association and as industry expert is also a legal professional consultant. Mr. Herrera has been a technical writer for many water purification trade magazines and provides technical presentations with water system training throughout the United States, Latin America, Asia and Australia. His credentials within the field have provided him unique application knowledge, allowing him highly recommended working references with many professional water purification organizations such as AWWA, IBWA, TWQA and industry leaders with SUEZ, EVOQUA, PENTAIR, COCA-COLA, ULTRA-PURE INDUSTRIAL, WATTS WATER, GENERAL ELECTRIC, and many others. Some major achievements have included the first in development of medically registered RO and DI system designs used within hemodialysis, first in commercial use of electro-deionization (EDI) and development of water-cooling system cartridge for the Patriot Missile Launcher.
WRC is considered an industry expert for pure-water equipment and designs. Industries include electronics, pharmaceutical, boiler, industrial, colling towers chillers, food processing, laboratory and municipal applications. Recent WRC consulting and or installation projects include U.S. Space Force Ascension Island twin seawater desalination systems & a 2.5 MGD RO/UV system design for Leprino Foods Company. Other co-consulting water treatment designs have included projects with the Department of the Interior, Carollo Engineering, Jacobs Engineering, San Antonio Water Systems, H.B. Zachry, Holt-Caterpillar, H.E.B. Grocery, Kimberly Clark Corporation, LNV Engineering, Samsung, San Antonio Zoo, San Antonio Water Systems , Starbucks Coffee, University of Texas, U.S. Air Force Fifth Wing, and Whataburger Incorporated.

The head of our technical design department has over 18 yrs., Water Purification Experience. An expert within AutoCAD / Solid Works Design & 3-D modeling. An industry expert with FDA compliance. Projects include management of approximately 8.5 MGD of various compliance related water systems support.
Our chief project manager has over 35 yrs. of water purification experience. He is an expert in most all aspects of water system design and will typically repair systems when competitors have given-up and recommended replacement. He specializes in all lab water equipment repairs and preventive maintenances. His team is on notice for world travel.
The WRC Field Support Team is comprised of a highly respectable staff. The achieved credits are many and consist of two (2) individuals with B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, one with a B.S. of Industrial Technology and a Class C Ground Water license, two (2) having hands on experiences from running an ultrapure water electronics facility, and two (2) shop mangers with experiences in trades such as S.S. pipe welding, high purity skid assemblies and general water treatment manufacturing design.
Our staff also includes technicians responsible for service contract maintenance scheduling and keeping our DI resin regeneration facility operating under the highest water quality obtainable. All service technicians are considered experts in water system preventive maintenance.
